Horas previstas para as várias tentativas de aterragem do Space Shuttle Atlantis
O tempo no Centro Espacial Kennedy (KSC) continua idêntico a ontem, com aguaceiros fortes e trovadas. Na Base Aérea Edwards (EDW) haverá ventos fortes a partir da tarde. Ontem foi pedida uma activação dos reactores auxiliares (OMS - Orbital Maneuvering System), por forma a obter uma oportunidade extra de aterragem em Edwards de manhã, antes dos ventos se tornarem fortes.
Pessoalmente gostava de ver outra aterragem em Edwards. A paisagem do deserto é fantástica. Se a NASA seguisse o Shuttle com aviões de escolta, como fazia há 20 anos, seria espetacular! Não creio que isso vá acontecer, mas a esperança existe :)
Aqui ficam as horas previstas para as várias possibilidades de aterragem. Some 5 horas para obter a hora de Lisboa.
A intenção da NASA é aterrar hoje, onde quer que seja, desde que haja condições mínimas de segurança. Parece possível uma aterragem às 8:49 de Lisboa em Edwards. Como de costume, poderá ver a aterragem da Atlantis na Internet, através da NASA TV.
